TikTok says this is the best foundation for mature skin — and Sephora shoppers agree – Yahoo News

The Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation is being praised on TikTok as a must-have foundation for mature skin.
It's billed as a "medium coverage, weightless foundation with fermented arnica that helps reduce redness and protects from environmental stress." So, what makes it a must for mature skin? We’re breaking down all the details below.
$59 CAD/$45 USD at Sephora
The Haus Labs by Lady Gaga Skin Tech foundation is a medium-coverage product that provides wearers with a long-wearing, natural finish. Made with fermented arnica to reduce redness and irritation, this foundation is certified vegan, gluten-free, and hypoallergenic and comes in 51 shades.
Since it's chock-full of 20+ skincare-quality ingredients, this foundation helps even skin tone as well as soothe sensitive and acne-prone skin. Coverage-wise, it's weightless upon application, buildable and long-lasting.
In a recent video posted on TikTok, user and pro makeup artist Michelle Spieler talked about how the Skin Tech foundation is ideal for mature skin.
Spieler notes that "it's crazy and deceiving how silky and smooth it is," adding that it "really does become one with the skin." Since it's formulated to work on all skin types and offers buildable coverage, it's also great for everyday wear.
According to Spieler, what really makes this foundation "especially good for mature skin" is the product's ability to blur texture. As a result, it "covers really well without looking heavy" and "basically looks like a second skin."
While this foundation has been getting rave reviews from TikTok users, it's also quickly becoming a Sephora shopper favourite. It's already earned more than 500 five-star reviews, and a 4.4-star average rating from customers.
"I never use foundation on my forehead because every single one settles into the deep creases I have there. This foundation changes everything," one reviewer wrote. "The coverage is very buildable without ever feeling heavy [and] the look is so natural."

Additionally, shoppers say that it compares to other, much more expensive foundations in terms of its smoothing and blurring formulation.
"This foundation wears and looks exactly like the La Mer foundation. I can't believe it," one person shared. "I got a sample of both and I cannot detect a difference on the skin."
While it has received plenty of rave reviews, some Sephora shoppers caution that this foundation isn't the best for those with dry skin.
"I’m a big fan of Haus Labs products but this foundation just didn’t work for me! I have dry skin and it clung to my dry patches," one shopper noted.
According to TikToker Michelle Spieler, the Haus Labs by Lady Gaga Skin Tech foundation is ideal for mature skin because it doesn't accentuate fine lines or wrinkles. Instead, it feels ultra-lightweight once applied and looks like a second skin.
Sephora shoppers seem to agree as well, as long as you prep your skin with hydrating ingredients before application. After all, if Lady Gaga approves, then there's no doubt that this is a must-add to your makeup routine.
