Ahhhh social media. The ultimate agent for self-promotion. Like a cigarette is an agent for nicotine. Dear lord, somebody please pass me the TUMS. Was it really so long ago that each of our lives, when taken as a whole, were not all that interesting? Still worthy, of course. Just. Not. So. Special. Which brings me to this sports section and the 15 minutes of fame it affords Bay-Area athletes whose lives, at this particular point in time, are deserving of promotion.
