The app allows users to express themselves in a creative and fun way. TikTok has something for everyone, whether you’re into fashion, comedy, or just want to see what’s trending. The app is also a great way to connect with friends and family, and you can follow anyone you want.

The Tape Method
Canadian TikToker user Valerie introduced a new anti-aging hack using a tool commonly found in households: tape.
She swears by the technique, saying that a fine line on her forehead has completely disappeared since trying the method.
To try it out for yourself, all you have to do is says stick small pieces of tape across your face, making sure to cover your forehead, eyebrows, nose and smile lines.
“Usually my smile lines are so visible, but you can’t even see them now.” She explains to viewers.
Valerie says she practices the technique at night, leaving it on until morning. And according to her, the method is so good, it can even rival Botox!
“I’m Cold” / Cold Girl Makeup
“Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation“
For a more natural makeup style, try the Cold Girl makeup trend. It involves recreating a flushed winter face, complete with rosy cheeks.
To create the look, start by applying a matte foundation to your face. We like the “Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation” but you can try use any one of your favorite matte foundations.
Next, whip out your favorite cool-toned blush. And starting at the apples of your cheeks, work your way outward and upward. Don’t forget to lightly dust your nose, as well!
Finally, finish the look by setting with a matte powder and applying your favorite lippie. And there you have it: a cute and natural makeup look that you can wear pretty much anywhere!
Makeup Frothing
“Handheld Milk Frother”
The next TikTok beauty trend involves an important kitchen tool: an electric milk frother. And if you don’t have one, don’t worry! This “Handheld Milk Frother” from Zulay Kitchen will do the trick. Even better, it’s under $20!
According to users, aerating your foundation using a milk frother should result in a dewy glow for your face rather than the typical matte finish. And thanks to TikTok user Glamzilla, the beauty babe who started the trend, fans can learn exactly how to do it.
Simply add several pumps of liquid foundation to a glass of water. Then, use a milk frother to whip the concoction until it reaches a mousse-like consistency.
Skin Slugging
Skin slugging is another popular beauty trend with over 500 million Tiktokviews and counting. It involves applying a layer of petroleum jelly to the face to achieve baby-soft skin.
The reason why it works is that petroleum jelly acts as a protective barrier to seal in moisture. So the result is a soft and smooth finish.
To try it, start by following your daily skincare routine, avoiding oils, spot treatments, or actives like retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs.
Then, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly or another slugging product to your damp face.
Finally, after a few hours or even overnight, wash your face to remove any leftover product.
Crying Makeup
For the majority of women, crying is the mortal enemy of makeup. From puffy eyes to dry skin, it can be one of the worst things to do when wearing makeup. Not to mention, waterproof mascara is a thing for a reason.
But on TikTok, crying makeup is the newest beauty trend, characterized by flushed cheeks, and even tearful eye makeup. MUA Zoe Kim Kenealy introduced the trend, and TikTokers have been talking about it since.
To get the look, start by applying your foundation as usual. Next, lightly sweep a bit of multi-use cream blush over your cheeks and nose. You can also try adding the blush to your eyelids and underneath your eyes for an even more realistic look.
Then, to recreate a glistening eye, apply a bit of liquid glitter to your bottom lashline before topping it with eye gloss for added shine.
As for your lips, to create a puffy effect, Kenealy uses the Soft Spoken Velvet Lip Creme from Em Cosmetics before softened the edges with a brush.
Finish the job with a lip gloss or oil, and voila! A soft, natural makeup look, complete with an adorable pout.
