We’d expect this from Penny … but Sheldon Cooper?!
Who knew the cast of

The Big Bang Theory had more than just acting chops? TikTok certainly didn’t, until a behind-the-scenes video taken from the show’s final season went viral.
In a clip shared on the social media platform, which has also been uploaded onto Youtube, fans could see the cast and crew of the hit CBS sitcom come together to create a flash mob for the audience. All dressed in black tops, white caps emblazoned with the number 12, and jeans, everyone gathered on the set of Sheldon and Leonard’s apartment to expertly groove to the Backstreet Boys’ 1999 hit single "Larger Than Life."
We can all agree that everyone’s performances were truly impressive. But Jim Parsons moves stood out especially, as he danced the well-choreographed routine front and center.
When the video began to circle its way around TikTok, users couldn’t believe their eyes at how good of a dancer Jim was. Due to the surprise of it all, they naturally had to react.
"Jim Parsons is a vibe and I’m all for it 😂," one fan wrote in the comments section of the TikTok post. "[Someone] explain to me how Jim Parsons, who is so awkward in show and movie I’ve seen, is nailing this right now 😂," another person inquired. "Sheldon is bopping hard 😂," a different follower added.
Jim’s serious moves aside, it’s not the first time The Big Bang Theory cast and crew did something like this. When doing a quick search on YouTube, we discovered that it was a yearly tradition for the cast to perform a flash mob. The gang has danced to a number of hit songs over the years, including Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars‘ "Uptown Funk" and Carly Rae Jepsen‘s "Call Me Maybe."
Given how Jim is now executive producing co-star Mayim Bialik‘s show Call Me Kat, maybe we’ll see this tradition live on. Fingers crossed we get to see him nail his dancing skills once more.
