Yolanda Hadid jokingly called herself the “worst mom ever” in response to a viral TikTok attacking her parenting skills.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 58, shared a video of her own on Thursday that showed her snacking on almonds in different settings. The clip was set to the tune of Rosalía’s hit song “Bizcochito.”
“worstmomever #almonds,” Hadid wrote in the caption.
The former model’s post comes months after she was lambasted for her treatment of her famous daughters Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, whom she shares with ex-husband Mohamed Hadid. (The pair also share son Anwar Hadid.)
In July, TikTok user @pattypopculture claimed Yolanda “starved” Gigi, 27, and Bella, 25, for the sake of their modeling careers.
“[She] made sure they never ate anything too calorie-dense, not even cake on their birthday,” the influencer said.
@pattypopculture included old “RHOBH” clips that illustrated such behavior.
“It’s hard to not eat any sugar, and it’s hard to have to eat salad every day,” Yolanda told Gigi in one scene.

In another, Gigi told her mom during a phone call, “I’m feeling really weak. I had, like, half an almond.”
Yolanda then offered, “Have a couple of almonds. Chew them really well.”
@pattypopculture then pointed out Bella’s previous admission that she once suffered from disordered eating.

The social media star also alleged that Yolanda “allowed Bella to undergo facial reconstructive surgery at the age of 14 to fix her nose.”
Bella, who is of Arabian and European descent, told Vogue in March, “I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors. I think I would have grown into it.”
@pattypopculture also claimed that Yolanda made Bella feel like “the ugly, less-than sister” in comparison to Gigi, whose modeling career took off first.
Furthermore, the TikToker referenced Yolanda’s feud with Gigi’s ex Zayn Malik, calling it one of the reasons “everyone [hates]” the Hadid matriarch.

Years before the criticism, Yolanda told Fashion Week Daily that she was proud of her approach to parenthood.
“I am a protective Dutch momma bear and the anchor that keeps our family together. I have always strived to be the best that I can be and lead by example. My relationship with my children is based on consistency, trust and loyalty,” she said in 2017.
“I have always tried to nurture and understand the uniqueness of each child. I don’t believe in having one parenting style that fits one for all. I learned early on that I had to adjust my mothering style to their individual needs.”
