American Journalist and news anchor Jeannette Reyes has had TikTok in stitches with her latest viral video.
The 31-year-old, who is an anchor for Fox 5 DC in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia, has 1.1 million followers on the video site and makes hilarious videos.
She often makes funny skits and videos with her news anchor voice and her TikTok bio says: “I do this thing with my voice.”
This week, she’s taken over TikTok with a hysterical video in which she does a news report on her newborn baby and it’s comedy gold.
In the clip captioned “when both your parents are news anchors,” Jeannette picks her newborn baby out of her cot and begins doing a news report on her.
“Good morning Bella it’s 9:52. Hopefully you slept well, certainly no one else did but we’re not going to point any fingers,” she says. “Let’s hand over to Robert Burton for more on your weather.”
Jeannette’s husband then appears and says: “Well, JR beautiful day outside as you can see, temps in the mid 80s, no humidity. Will we get to enjoy it?”
“Well, if spit ups, feedings and diaper changes don’t get in the way, we might just be able to make it out of her before midnight,” he hilariously jokes.
When both of your parents are anchors
Jeannette continues to speak about the baby in her news anchor voice, saying: “Well speaking of diaper changes, we have some breaking news, an explosion at the diaper factory.”
Thankfully, she doesn’t show the dirty nappy but comedically adds “fortunately, no injuries have been reported and authorities tell us they do have a suspect in custody”.
The camera then turns onto the suspect, baby Bella, who is lying in her cot oblivious of what is going on and Jeannette adds that the suspect is unfortunately “not speaking at the moment”.
“They have linked her to hundreds of other explosions,” she quips before singing the nursery rhyme Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to the baby in her news anchor voice.
The side-splitting clip has already had over 4.6 million views and 1.2 million likes and TikTok users are in hysterics.
“I am in TEARS. Laughed out loud when you spoke Twinkle Twinkle.”
“That baby is gonna grow up talking like a newscaster!” another joked.
A third person added: “I need to know what an argument is like.”
“This is the best think I’ve ever seen,” said another.
Jeannette and her husband Robert, who is a news anchor for ABC 7News, welcomed baby Bella in June and the often post photos and videos of her on Instagram and TikTok.
“Baby girl is here!” the news anchor wrote on July 3 alongside an adorable photo of the newborn. “Isabella Sofia Burton made her grand entrance into the world three weeks early.”
“She was born Thursday, June 30th, at 12:03 pm weighing 6 lbs 1 oz and measuring 19 inches. The baby and I are doing well. Bella already has daddy wrapped around her little finger.”
She then shared a video of the moment she was brought to her hospital room for the first time after a few days in the NICU.
The adorable clip showed Robert holding their little girl, who was wrapped in a blanket, and she gushed in the caption: “These two ?.”
Three weeks later, Jeneatte posted another photo on her due date, writing: “She must’ve known her parents are news anchors because I found out she was coming early while @abc7robert was on air.”
She also revealed that she went into labour just an hour before she was due to go on air and joked: “Talk about breaking news ?.”
“But we couldn’t be happier to be her parents,” she added.
